Dear Camp STIX Family,

 Camp STIX, our summer camp for kids with diabetes, will take place on July 15-21, 2012. This year, our theme is entitled Camp STIX - The Remix, and we’re excited for folks to join us at our new location, Riverview Bible Camp! We are looking forward to hosting nearly 170 campers with and without diabetes and we’ll be staffed by many qualified and enthusiastic volunteers. Our goals are for your camper to have a lot of fun while enjoying wonderful food, plenty of learning opportunities, and excellent medical supervision.

We’re ready for you to register your camper using our online site!  This method puts you in control of the information entered, and it helps to avoid mistakes.  Please read the following information to help you get your camper registered.

Registration Policies

Our entire registration process will be handled online.  You will be guided through the steps as you continue through the process.  Your information will be secure, and it will be maintained in our database by the Camp Leadership Team.  Campers will be accepted in the order of completing their registration process.  We have a maximum number of places available for campers, and once those slots are full, we create a waiting list. We regularly accept several campers from the waiting list each year.

Unless you are applying for financial aid, we ask you to pay a $50 refundable deposit in order to complete your camper’s registration.  The remainder of the camp fee may be paid at the time of registration or in monthly payments that you can select while registering online.  We are continuing our three-level payment structure with a slight increase from last year. We ask you to pay what you can afford, with the minimum camp fee of $300 for campers with diabetes and at least $390 for campers without diabetes. The full cost for any camper is $780  We ask those who can afford it to please pay the full amount.  Please see the 2012 Camp STIX Registration Finances link below for more information. As you choose your level of payment, please know that we thank you for contributing generously to Camp STIX! 

For campers whose parents serve on our current Board of Directors, or who plan to serve on our 2012 Volunteer Staff at camp, a discounted camp fee will be available.

If you are applying for financial aid

We will notify all financial aid applicants of our decisions by April 30, 2012.  Financial aid applications received after April 14, 2012 will not be considered due to space limitations.

Payment of all fees must be completed and received by June 1

If your payment process is not completed by that date, we will allow a wait-listed camper who has fully paid to move into your slot and your camper will be placed on the bottom of the waiting list.
